I am doing really well volunteering at The Mo. I really enjoy it. The manager has said “I am a Professional”! I go to The Mo for one morning every week. I either go with Carers, Nick or Bill, and sometimes Mum. On Tuesdays, I work in the shop and help on the till, taking payments when people are entering the museum or buying gifts in the shop. On Friday’s, I do ‘Meet and Greet’. I welcome the visitors and show them a video of the museum if they choose to watch it. Recently some visitors returned to give me a thank you card because they thought I was very helpful. I also attend regular meetings at The Mo to discuss accessibility and how to make improvements at the museum. I have been thanked for my suggestions at these meetings. It is a great place to volunteer.
