Now You See Me…!

If you ask any of my friends what the highlights of Northampton are, the overwhelming answer may be, eh, nothing! Obviously seeing Grandma is the main benefit, but when you reach the town centre, it has to be said, it is somewhat on the bleak side. So, how about we visit the opticians when I don’t actually need new specs! Surely even by Dad’s standards this has got to be his worse idea to date – and there have been some bad ones in the past! Annoyingly, yet again he proves me wrong, as we call in to see my good friend Marc Williams, his colleague Beth, and all the staff at Sheinman Opticians. Marc looked after me so well after my accident, and I will always be grateful to him for always making me feel welcome whenever I visit. It was really great to see everyone again, and congratulations to Marc on being promoted to Head Optometrist. They even had my last visit still recorded as 11th August 2011.

Whilst on the subject of opticians, I have today been to Swaffham to see my good friends Neil, Naomi, Mandy and Kerry at Dipples and Conway. Another occasion where I didn’t need new specs, though Debra did owing to the unfortunate incident of leaving hers on an aeroplane! As it turns out, I did in fact get some new sunglasses for my holiday in the Summer, followed by a lovely lunch.

With my other regular opticians being Roger Lee in Sheringham, I think its fair to say that I am well looked after as far as my eyesight is concerned!
