On 6th October 2021, I the had the opportunity to visit the world famous Flying Scotman at the Mid-Norfolk Railway in Dereham. Built in 1923 at Doncaster Works, it became the first steam locomotive to reach 100mph in 1934. The LNER Class A3 locomotive was employed on long-distance express trains notably London to Edinburgh. It is currently owned by The National Railway Museum in York. I have tried to make some of the photos look closer to 1923 than the present day.
