It will all be happening in the early hours of tomorrow morning at Greenwich, when, at 2am we lose an hour and revert back to Greenwich Mean Time. In the United States, the clocks go back on 6th November. So, why 2am and not midnight? I believe it is mainly due to convenience. It’s a period of night thats usually the most quiet, and it eliminates the chance of going back a day. In other words if the clocks changed at midnight from 29th to 30th, we would then revert straight back to the 29th for an hour! Tonight therefore actually makes Dad’s trips worthwhile…..for a change!!
